How does your experience prepare you for the duties of this office?

My experience as a school principal, Mayor, RTD Director, United Power Director, Colorado Air and Space Port Advisory Board Member, Almost Home Director and registered psychotherapist working with truant children prepares me to work on diverse areas to help give families and others a voice at the State House.

What would you like the voters to know about you?

My name is Dave Rose and I have lived in Brighton, Co for 41 years with my wife Wilma. Wilma and I raised 4 wonderful children and also have a daughter-in-law and son-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren. We both worked in the Brighton Public Schools for many years and served on City Council and several boards.

How does your experience prepare you for the duties of this office?

I have experience is criminal justice, finance, banking, and government.

What would you like the voters to know about you?

I hold a BS Degree in Criminal Justice and I’m a graduate of the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking. I started my career as a financial crimes investigator in the Banking Industry. I also successfully ran a small home business for nine (9) years plus I served three terms (12 yrs) as a County Commissioner.
