I was in the military for 29 years, and am committed to public service. I believe in the sanctity of human life and liberty of conscience. I opposed physician-assisted suicide. I cosponsored bills against sex selection abortions and for “born alive” infants during abortions. I fought to reform the Civil Rights Commission

What would you like the voters to know about you?

For 4 years, I fought for parents rights in making health and education decisions for their children. I spoke out on the House floor against a bill to eliminate parental consent for certain medical evaluations for children as young as 12. I sponsored bills to protect our privacy by reducing state personal data collection.
