In 325 character or less, how does your experience prepare you for the duties of this office?

I’ve been in office for 6 years. My voting record speaks for it self. I have been called the “most effective legislator” in the House. I plan to continue to listen to my constituents and respond to the needs of the people in our state.

In 325 character or less, what would you like the voters to know about you?

I am looking forward to my last session in the house. I will continue my work on a variety of issues: Veterans, Human Trafficking, Health Care, law enforcement. I am a fiscal conservative who believes in doing with is right for my district and my constituents.

Do you support or oppose churches and other qualified religious organizations continuing to receive tax-exempt status?
Do you support or oppose the religious beliefs of a person being permitted to influence the decisions they make while serving in public office?

I don’t think someone can separate their personal beliefs from their voting. A public sector employee must follow the law.

Do you support or oppose public funding, including Medicaid, for Planned Parenthood?

Not a penny of my tax dollars should go to this organization
