26 years of experience in K-12 education, experience as a business owner, serving a 4 year term as a trustee at Colorado Mesa University, a successful first term as a CU Regent,experience with the legislature, budgets and public policy have allowed me success in performing the duties of this office over the past six years

What would you like the voters to know about you?

I am a life long Colorado resident. I have been married to Diane for 45 years and have four children and four grandchildren. I was born in the San Luis Valley,graduated from Battle Mountain High School and attended college in Colorado. I believe in education and in the power of education in changing lives!
